They catered my wedding earlier this year and the guests loved the food and desserts. My family is so glad we chose them. The service, presentation, and food were all presented very elegantly. We had no issues, and will use them for future events as well. The catering menu was even better than the restaurant menu as well. Very professional.
The chicken biryani was great but the eating tables were sticky. Very low-key environment.
I have had Indian and Middle Eastern food in some of the most popular places in New York's Greenwich Village, Los Angeles, Chicago and South Florida and I have NEVER had food this good! Named after a popular place in Pakistan, if you're not in the know, you might easily pass it up thinking its what we here know as a "Bar-b-Que" place. But it's not even remotely that. With over 500 of his own special middle eastern recipes in his head and heart, the owner lovingly cooks himself, he caters for large events, and the lunch buffet is a daily surprise from some of those he's cultivated over the last 30+ years from his homeland in Pakistan. No additives, preservatives or chemicals, fresh and authentic, it not only tastes good but FEELS good! With other places, my sensitive "LA stomach" has paid for the indulgence. But not here. I actually feel BETTER after indulging in their deliciously satisfying and super reasonably priced lunch buffet. Regarding the atmosphere, I'll suffice it to say it is "humble". Honestly, if I hadn't discovered how amazing the food is, I might be reluctant to sit down, but the real investment is made in the food. And for that, I will endeavor to go until I have tried each of his 500 recipes.
i like the food here when i go for anything else but chicken, however when i called and asked them about the hand cut chicken the owner got pissed and started bashing me on the phone. i just hung up and didnt go after this.
I ate at this restaurant a couple days ago. I disliked the sitting arrangement as it was very dirty. When the food came out, it lacked flavor and was less than room temperature. The staff also lacked a certain professional attitude when I asked about the various dishes. Overall, I would not recommend wasting your money here.
