My unit is infested with rats. I am extremely sick and had to put everything my daughters and I own into storage three months ago so I could stay with my father as I went through treatment. I have now paid over $300 to lose everything we own. The insurance only covers $250 with a $100 deposit and requires receipts and pictures. My receipts and computer are in the storage unit. My immune system is extremely suppressed right now and against the advisement of my physician, I have to dig through rat feces and urine to even find the things I need to submit to insurance for the measly $250 to replace mine and my children's lives. The manager offered to haul our possessions to the dump for free. I can't believe that is how they treat sick, single mothers who have now lost everything they ever owned. I am hoping I don't catch any diseases as I try to sort through what is left of everything I've owned in my lifetime. This is disgusting on all levels.
