I love, love, love Dr. Stewart and Mrs. Mercedes! For both of my pregnancies I received prenatal care from here and I can honestly say that I received the best care and answered any questions and concerns. And to top it off, I delivered very healthy babies with no issues
Go somewhere else!!!! Should have known after I called to make an appointment at 4:30pm and they put me on hold for 30 minutes until they closed. Called again and made appointment for today to have my IUD removed but found out it wouldn't happen until a follow up appointment, since they had to establish me as a patient first... would have been nice to know ahead of time! Finally saw a doctor an hour and a half after my scheduled appointment, and she gave me 5 minutes for a routine exam. Said she couldn't find the IUD and we would have to look for it next time (no reassurance or care to know where it went or if it was still even in there!) I at least had her check a lump the size of a marble, she said it was nothing and unless it was the size of a half dollar not to worry. I expressed concern that my Aunt was diagnosed with early aggressive breast cancer recently and for my conscious I would like to have it looked at, she said not to worry about it until I was 35-40. At checkout she walked by and I asked for a mammogram referral again and she said no! Also I told her DH and I were wanting to get pregnant again, she asked how many kids I had and how old were they. When I told her 4 and 18 months she said "Oh dear hun you should wait!" None of her business! Total rudeness from all staff, long wait, no patient care... terrible experience!
I went for a pap and breast exam. I had a 9am appointment and was out by 9:37am. The staff was nice in every aspect. The midwife was nice and was friendly (she gave me a compliment on my boobs, great plus! lol). I would recommend them.
Definitely would never recommend Dr. Stewart to anybody especially if its your first pregnancy like mine! She is rude and makes me quite uncomfortable. Very unpersonable to be a physician. I had to see her when my midwife "just left" and she didn't know any of my medical information or anything about me that should have been easily accessible from my chart! *THIS IS THE OWNER OF THE PRACTICE* She had a really good midwife within her practice that I loved but she "just left" if you ask any of her staff and nobody know to where. Now at 33wks pregnant I have a brand new Dr.! Really?? SMH! I'd never let Dr. Stewart touch me or deliver my baby! I don't care if my baby head is out.. I can promise you I will walk, run, or crawl out the hospital if I have too! Id take my chances and have more trust in a complete stranger!
